Kent/Agassiz – Inside workers at the federal Kent/Mountain Institution have been working without a contract for three years and the anger has risen to a high simmer.
Workers put up an information protest outside of the Federal jail on Tuesday, slowing down traffic.

RCMP and Corrections Canada said the info protest did not interfere with the day to day operations.
Inside workers feel they had to go this route to get the attention of their employer. Safety issues as well as pensions and wages are the key issues.
