Mission – Mission Fire Rescue Service responded to a structure fire on Olson Road that sent one person to hospital Sunday night (January 19).
MFRS was called to the home shortly before 9PM and the first-in truck encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the building.
The blaze was quickly knocked down, but the structure was severely damaged and the roof partially collapsed.
All three fire halls responded, as well as Emergency Support Services (ESS) and public works.
An investigation is underway.
