Ethan Bowen Named Chiefs MVP After COVID Shortened Year

Chilliwack – Kudos to the Chilliwack Chiefs and their end of the year award winners. This was not the way anyone thought the season would go.

20 games, no playoffs and cardboard cutouts in the stands.

BUT, the hardware was handed out.

Ethan Bowen was named team MVP and already had the Top Scorer Award. for a season featuring 11 goals and 21 points in 19 games.

Jackson Munro and Trevor Longo, shared the Orland Kurtenbach Top Defenseman award.

Team captain Kyle Penney won the Bess & Cliff Brew Most Dedicated Player award.

Sasha Teleguine was named the Fan Favourite.

Tanner Andrew won the Chiefs’ Unsung Hero nod.

Lachlan Getz was named Most Improved Player.

Mathieu Caron was Scholastic Player of the Year.

Dawson Good honoured with Most Community-Minded Player.

Defenceman Xavier Henry was recognized for Crunch of the Year.

Ken Hunt won the Volunteer of the Year Award.
