One Person Seriously Hurt in Mission House Fire

Mission (CityNews1130) – One person was seriously injured in a large house fire on Townshipline Avenue in Mission Monday morning, BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) says.

Emergency crews were called to the home, which is located between Clay Street and Keystone Avenue, shortly after 8AM.

“Two ambulances with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics, an air ambulance with critical care paramedics, and a paramedic supervisor responded,” said BCEHS paramedic public information officer.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported by air ambulance to hospital in serious condition.”

Mounties say the home was fully engulfed in flames.
