Abbotsford – On Thursday morning, Abbotsford Police attended a service where a permanent plaque was erected at the location where Cst. John Davidson was murdered in 2017.
From Chief Mike Serr:
A beautiful tribute for a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for his community. We shall never forget our brother.
Oscar Arfmann was convicted of first-degree murder. That comes with an automatic 25 year sentence before parole can be considered. Arfmann’s mental capacity was under scrutiny during his trial, but the Judge ruled that he knew and was aware of what he was doing.
