Langley – The Rotary Clubs of Langley are excited to announce the return of RibFest Langley, presented by The Credit Unions of Langley, on August 16, 17, & 18 at McLeod Athletic Park.
This is a family-friendly event and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a big appetite! Admission to the event is free and proceeds raised will be donated back into the Langley community. Guest are encouraged to RSVP online to receive event updates and be entered to win a $200 gift card from Bonetti Meats and a Red Weber Anniversary Barbecue from Johnstone’s!
Last summer, for its inaugural year, RibFest Langley hosted thousands of families from across the Lower Mainland and raised $60,000 that was donated back to the community.
Back for its second year in a row, RibFest Langley will be bigger and better than ever – featuring award-winning Champion Ribbers from across North America and an epic lineup of live music, local craft beer, and family entertainment. Check out the full entertainment lineup for details.
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
As a free, community-based event, volunteers are needed to help the weekend run smoothly. Volunteer positions are available for set-up and take-down, recycling and clean up, parking, food and beverage service (must have Serving it Right), cashiers, guest services and bike corral, kids zone, 50/50, and entertainment. This is a great opportunity for students needing to fulfill volunteer hours or for anyone else wanting to support and give back to the community.
