Keeping Langley Teens Busy In July/August With Youth Adventure Clubs

Langley Langley City offersparents a way to keep their teens busy every other Wednesday throughout the summer. Starting on July 10, the Youth Adventure Club will offer supervised low-cost outings for youth in grades 6-12 to experience the outdoors in a safe, fun and social environment.

“This is a great opportunity for youth to explore local beaches, trails, and lakes in the Lower Mainland,” said Youth Recreation Leader, Rebecca Gannon-Snow. “We hope kids can meet new friends, and have new experiences. Plus – it’s a great way to keep them active and out of the house throughout the summer break!”

Each adventure costs twenty dollars per person and includes supervision and the cost of transportation. Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch, snacks, plenty of water, sunscreen, a bathing suit, towel, comfortable clothing, and proper footwear like running shoes.
