Abbotsford – From October 3 – 5th the third annual Abby Biz Walks will be taking place. This year the teams of volunteers will be visiting four major areas within Abbotsford to get a feel for how the business community is doing.
Business Walks allowed the City of Abbotsford Economic Development department (CAED) to gather vital information from the business community to identify the types of support services needed for business growth. This information is a high level ‘temperature test’ for businesses in Abbotsford. Its purpose is to connect support agencies to business, share key challenges and opportunities with local decision makers, and identify the businesses requiring more comprehensive follow up from CAED’s BR&E program.
The 3rd annual Business Walks will take place in the areas of Mt. Lehman, McCallum Industrial area, South Fraser Way, Historic Downtown, George Ferguson Way and East Abbotsford
