Vancouver – FVN’s News Director/Editor Don Lehn was the MC for the Thursday night 3rd Annual Life Without Limits Gala for the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC.
As always it was held at the Best Western Chateau Granville in Downtown Vancouver.
The Keynote speaker was Paralympic Superstar Nathan Dewitt who was on the 2012 Canadian Paralympic team in London England.
When the doors opened to the gala, some $29,000 had already been raised for the association. Another $9200 was raised during the silent and not so silent auction, facilitated by renowned comic David C Jones. That was double the amount raised compared to last year’s auction.
But the need can not stop there. The association needs some $64,000 to keep its annual commitments.
A huge thank you and shout out to the CPABC Director Feri Dehdar, Ian Bushfield, David C Jones, Stephen Lytton, Vancouver Deputy Mayor Geoff Beggs, Zak Khokhar of Scotiabank, Nathan DeWitt, Leora Shipley, Karin and Marco Pasqua, Julia Halipchuck and CPABC President Andy Yu. Plus all the volunteers who put this gala together.
