Mission – On the heels of a major drug roundup at Kent Institution, another bust but this time at Mission Institution.

Close to $90,000 worth of contraband was seized at Mission Institution on November 28.

A package containing contraband and unauthorized items was seized on the perimeter of the medium security institution.

The items included cell phones and chargers, a smart watch, headphones, tobacco, rolling papers, and various narcotics including hash, methamphetamines, marijuana, and pills.

The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $89,000.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) continues their investigation.
