Abbotsford – On Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 6:30 am, the Abbotsford Police Department received a call reporting a shot fired at a hotel in the 1800 block of Sumas Way. The caller indicated that they believed the shot came from an adjacent suite.
APD Patrol Division members responded to the scene and guests were evacuated while police investigated. Entry was made to the suspected suite but nobody was found inside. Fortunately, there was no evidence of injury to anyone at the scene.
The investigation into this incident is continuing.
