Harrison – Starting in mid October, the Harrison Festival Society will be presenting its Fall lineup of shows, with three sensational, top quality roots music acts: England’s Martin Simpson, Canada’s Colin Linden, and Quebec’s Le Vent du Nord. It’s all part of the 31st Annual Season of Performing Arts.
For over 40 years, Martin Simpson has been at the forefront of the UK folk scene, and has gained the reputation as one of the world’s great acoustic fingerstyle guitarists. He performs Friday October 18.
As a member of Bob Dylan’s band, On Saturday November 9, Canadian roots and blues icon Colin Linden will perform a follow up to his 2018 Harrison Festival performance.
Taking place on Saturday November 30, Le Vent du Nord are currently the best known global ambassadors of high energy and dynamic Quebecois traditional music. This is a co-production with the Mission Folk Festival.
