Fraser Valley Regional District – TELUS has informed FVRD of a 911 service disruption for the Fraser Canyon (including Boston Bar, North Bend, and Canyon Alpine). This could affect your ability to reach and communicate with emergency services such as fire, ambulance, and police.
If you need help immediately, you please use alternative means to contact your local emergency services:
-Use an alternate cellular provider or a landline to call 911.
-Contact police directly – the Boston Bar RCMP detachment is located at 47864 Old Boston Bar Rd beside the Canada Post Office and can be reached by calling the non-emergency number at 604-867-9333.
-If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please proceed to the Boston Bar Ambulance detachment or notify non-emergency RCMP.
-If you are experiencing an emergency, landlines that are not internet-reliant will still function.
-Do not call 911 for information or updates.
