Hope – Early Friday morning Hope Fire Department responded to a small wildland fire near the exit 170 onramp to Hwy 1.
Along with a BC Wildfire crew, 5 fire fighters were able contain the blaze.
The fire is believed to have been human caused.
A reminder that a campfire prohibition is in effect until Halloween.
