Victoria – In an open letter on social media, BCTF President Teri Mooring has asked that the provincial government limit school class size to 15.
This as the COVID pandemic numbers are shooting skyward during this second wave.
The on line support from other teachers has been, as expected, very supportive.
The letter reads:
The #bcpoli government needs to respond swiftly to the ongoing surge of COVID19 in our communities and #bced schools, especially in Fraser Health. We're asking @jjhorgan and Ministry of Education to immediately order districts in the Fraser region to reduce class sizes to 15.
