Agassiz – NOVEMBER 5 UPDATE – 33 year old Ian Gerald Mountain has been located and apprehended by Agassiz RCMP. Known to police and a prolific offender, he was wanted by RCMP back in July of this year on prohibition and weapons charges. In 2017, a British Columbia wide warrant was been issued for assault with a weapon, theft under $5000, and resisting a peace officer.
JULY 24 UPDATE – A BC wide warrant of arrest has been issued for Ian Gerald Mountain, 33, of Cultus Lake for:
· Possession of property obtained by crime.
· Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon with ammunition.
· Driving while prohibited.
· Fail to comply with recognizance.
RCMP caution the public if sighted, do not attempt to apprehend Mr. Mountain and immediately call 911. He is a prolific offender.
Ian Gerald Mountain is described as:
- Indigenous male.
- Height: 168 cm (5’6”).
- Weight: 56 kg (123 lbs).
- Eyes: Brown.
- Hair: Black.
- Tattoo: image of cross and ‘RIP’ on left hand.
