Mission /Deroche/Cascade Falls – A two year old boy is shaken and has minor injuries after a cougar attacked him on Monday afternoon.
Around 4 PM – An adult was taking some kids for a walk through Cascade Falls Regional Park .
BC Conservation Office confirmed the attack but would not say if the cougar was an adult or a young cub.
The toddler received some scratches to his back and a puncture wound to his arm.
Due to safety concerns, the park was closed by FVRD until further notice.
