Chilliwack – UFV Political Science Professor Dr. Hamish Telford explains the Referendum options, what each option means to the future of British and why your vote matters.
The “Prop Rep” ballots will be in your mailbox shortly. It is your vote on how provincial election are held in the future. Either the standard first-past-the-post system that we have now, of the option of proportional representation.
The referendum is being held by mail from October 22 to November 30. Registered voters will get a voting package in the mail from Elections BC between October 22 and November 2.
