Hope – Back on Thursday September 14, Hope RCMP entered a residence in the 200 block of Fort Street.
Hope Mounties seized a large quantity of illicit drugs after the successful application for a Search Warrant.
Police found what they believe to be marijuana, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia. A substantial amount of cash was also seized as part of the investigation.
A local Hope resident was taken into custody and released on a Promise to Appear to attend court at a later date.
Police are recommending several charges including; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Stolen Property. A stolen laptop computer was recovered that Police have identified as being stolen from a visitor from England.
This is an ongoing investigation.
