Fraser Valley -SATURDAY UPDATE – BC Hydro expecting the third typhoon fed storm to create wind related problems on Saturday night and early Sunday morning. The worst expected between 7 M and 11PM. Be prepared for power outages.
THURSDAY ORIGINAL STORY – By now you have heard that the remnants of a typhoon is heading to Southern BC and we will be blasted by heavy rain and wind. What leaves are still clinging to trees should be swept away.
Chilliwack SAR @ChilliwackSAR Chilliwack Search and Rescue took to social media and Tweeted – A series of 3 significant rain/wind storms are predicted Thursday-Sunday. A total of 200+mm of rain possible. Stay away from creeks/rivers #BCSAR
BC Hydeo is prepping everyone to have candles and flashlight batteries ready to go and charge up your cell phone.
Environment Canada is predicting 10mm AN HOUR as these three storms hit us in rapid succession.
