Fraser Valley/National – Customers of the Western Canadian loyalty program More Rewards have reported receiving cybersecurity notification emails regarding unauthorized access and compromised personal details.
The More Rewards program is primarily used by grocery shoppers and households in British Columbia and Alberta who regularly shop within the Pattison Food Group network.
What Was Affected
Access Issues: Following the security incident, users have reported that the official More Rewards website and login portals experienced access and availability disruptions.
Exposed Data: Notifications indicate that unauthorized actors may have accessed member information, which can include names, addresses, contact details, dates of birth, and account passwords.

Dear Valued Customer,
We are writing to let you know about an incident involving your personal information.
Our team discovered unauthorized activity occurring on one of our servers on October 13 and took immediate action that day to shut down the server and launch an investigation with a third-party cybersecurity expert. The incident was quickly contained, and we are in the process of notifying the appropriate authorities and privacy regulators.
We have today (October 16) confirmed that your name, and, if provided, address, phone number, email addresses and date of birth on the More Rewards database were accessed during this incident.
Based on the information available to us, no other personal information (e.g., passwords, credit card data, or transaction history) was accessed, and your More Rewards account remains secure.
We will never contact you for sensitive information such as your password, verification codes, banking or payment card information, Social Insurance Number, or security question answers. If you receive communication that appears to be from us or anyone else requesting sensitive personal information or asking you to click on a link or open an attachment that you were not expecting, we encourage you to verify the request using contact information you know to be legitimate, and not any contact information included in such request.
