Fraser Valley – Around Noon, a major substation failure put some 60,000 BC Hydro customers in the dark that lasted about an hour.
Power was restored after 1PM on October 5.
Due to widespread power outages, some traffic signals at intersections may be in all-red flashing, or off. Drivers, please slow down, use extra caution, treat affected intersections as a four-way stop, and watch for pedestrians and cyclists.
