Abbotsford (Alex Joehl, Party Leader Media Release) – The BC Libertarian Party have announced their party will have four candidates in the province this election.
Because of the abruptly-called election by the premier there was a shortened period to mobilize volunteers to get potential nominees across the finish line.
However, the party share the following:
Abbotsford-Mission – Jeff Monds
Langley-Abbotsford – Alex Joehl
Lewis Dahlby – Port Coquitlam
Phil Webb – Vancouver-Hastings
Monds, Joehl, and Dahlby have all run as candidates for the BC Libertarian Party in the past, but this is the first time for Webb. You can more information about them at https://libertarian.bc.ca/2026-candidates/

The BC Libertarian Party has been a principled ballot option since 1986. The most candidates they’ve fielded was in 2017, running 30 candidates, and 25 in 2020.
