Chilliwack – A drug trafficking investigation by the Chilliwack RCMP has resulted in the execution of search warrants at two residences on Victor Street and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, cash, and a firearm.
The commotion drew plenty of social media comments.
The investigation began after officers received information about a residence on Victor Street. As the investigation progressed, officers with the Crime Reduction Unit gathered evidence that led to the execution of search warrants at two adjacent properties on Victor Street on September 17, 2026.
During the execution of the warrants, police detained 23 individuals located at the residences. All were later released pending further investigation, with the exception of two individuals who were found to have outstanding unendorsed warrants for their arrest and were held in custody on those matters.
As a result of the search warrants, investigators seized quantities of suspected fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, cash, and a firearm.
Chilliwack Bylaw attended both properties during the warrant execution. Following an assessment of the residences, No Occupancy notices were posted on both properties as a preventative measure to deter individuals from returning to the residences.
The investigation remains ongoing. Charges are pending further investigation and are subject to charge assessment and approval by the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.
