Abbotsford – On August 27th, 2026, at approximately 3:57 a.m., AbbyPD Patrol officers responded to a report of a Break & Enter at a business in the 1800 block of Forge Pl.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arrival. Upon arrival, responding officers determined furniture & other merchandise had been stolen.
Patrol officers quickly ID’d the suspect vehicle & two suspects, advancing the investigation & gathering evidence that led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 33700 blk of Marshall Rd on Sept 11th, 2026.
The search resulted in the successful recovery of the stolen property, while the suspect vehicle was seized as offence-related property.
As a result of the investigation, 44-y/o Mario Jovic & 49-y/o Richard White, both known to police, have each been charged with Break & Enter. Both were arrested & remain in custody.
During the search, officers located & seized approximately $20,000 worth of suspected stolen tools. Investigators are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the rightful owners & are releasing photos of the recovered tools.
