From his website: I am Adam Boyd, a family man, father of four, and proud member of the Mission community since 2013. My children have grown up here playing local sports, including Mission Niners Football and Mission Minor Lacrosse. Mission is not just where we live; it is where we have built our life.
I know what it means to be the underdog. Having walked different paths in life and met people from every background, I strongly believe that every voice deserves a chance to be heard.
One of my greatest strengths is listening, but listening means very little without action.
I am a no-nonsense person. I do not believe in beating around the bush, passing problems down the line, or telling people what they want to hear. Instead, I focus on hearing the concern, understanding the people affected, finding a practical solution, and getting the job done.
If chosen by the people of Mission to serve on City Council, I will work alongside my fellow council members, community leaders, and residents to move our city forward with accountability and full transparency every step of the way. While I will not make false promises that every problem can be fixed overnight, I do promise to listen, ask the hard questions, communicate openly, and put in the work.
I am not running to become a politician.
I am running because Mission is my home. My children are growing up here, and our community deserves representatives who will listen, collaborate, stay transparent, and take decisive action.
Every voice matters. Every neighbourhood matters. Mission matters.
