Hope – Hope Fire Department responded to a lumber truck fire on Highway 3 near exit 173, Friday (September 19) afternoon.
Upon arrival Hope Fire Department found the cab of the truck fully involved in fire extending into the wildland.
Crews mounted an aggressive attack and were able to contain the fire to the cab before extinguishing.
A total of 8 firefighters and officers responded to the incident.
No injuries have been reported and the cause remains unknown.
