Chilliwack Mayor Elect Jason Lum on social media: Congratulations to, Á’a:líya Warbus, and Heather Maahs on your election victory tonight! Thank you to Kelli Paddon, Adila Shaukat and Dan Grice — for putting your names forward in today’s provincial election. Congratulations to Premier-elect Lorne Doerkson and the incoming government, and thank you to outgoing Premier David Eby and the NDP for their service. As Mayor-elect, I look forward to working with our provincial representatives to deliver results for Chilliwack. As you heard through the election – improving healthcare, public safety, and addressing affordability are top issues here in Chilliwack. I’m very pleased that we agree getting shovels in the ground on an MRI at Chilliwack General Hospital and moving forward on the Bradley Centre are also top priorities. Our Council is ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work for Chilliwack!
