UPDATE – Water Levels at Cultus Lake Rising to Cover Path – Debris at Lindell Beach

Cultus Lake – (Cultus Lake Community/Cultus Lake Park) – UPDATE – Cultus Lake Park wanted to inform you about the current situation at Cultus Lake Park. Recently, the region experienced an Atmospheric River which has led to a significant rise in water levels at the lake.

As a friendly reminder, according to the Province’s Conditional Water Licence, water is only withheld between March 15th and September 15th. At this moment, no water is being withheld artificially; the elevated lake levels are occurring naturally due to the recent weather event.

Cultus Lake Park strongly advise everyone to exercise caution when near the lake and to follow all safety precautions to ensure your well-being.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Stay safe and take care.

ORIGINAL STORY – The lake has risen considerably during this atmospheric river event and the path is flooded. Gum boots are definitely the footwear of choice today.
