Chilliwack (Chilliwack Arts Council) – The City of Chilliwack is looking for an artist to create new public art at the Lickman Roundabout. (No, the old Pick A Part car won’t be there).
The objective of the commissioned Artwork is to:
+ Create and establish a piece of Artwork that enhances the streetscape by providing an additional focal point along the Lickman Road corridor. Artists must take into consideration the size and scope of the roundabout footprint and design their piece
in a way that will complement said scope and size.
+ Present a high-quality piece of public art that is visually appealing from all approaches but will not impede traffic flow in any manner, including through the use of reflective material.
