Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Chiefs announce the addition of forward Boris Borin, a 2008-born playmaker from the AKM-Junior Tula Region program (MHL). Last season, Borin appeared in 35 games, tallying 7 goals and 17 assists for 24 points.
“Boris is a pure playmaker with elite vision and skating ability, while also possessing a heavy shot. His ability to process the game at a high level allows him to make those around him better.” said Chiefs Head Coach & GM Brian Maloney. “Being recognized by NHL Central Scouting is a reflection of the talent and potential he brings to our organization. We look forward to continuing to help in his development and having many conversations with NHL and NCAA organizations as his game continues to grow.”
“I’m happy to join the Chiefs here in the beautiful city of Chilliwack,” said Borin. “I’m eager to keep improving with the team and help bring more victories to our fans!”
