Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Chiefs announce the signing of 2006-born forward AJ Schaaf.
Schaaf brings an impressive combination of size and skill to the Chiefs’ lineup. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 212 pounds, he skates extremely well for his size and possesses a heavy shot. His versatility allows him to contribute in all situations, making him a valuable addition to the group.
AJ joins the Chiefs from the Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL), where he recorded 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points in 54 games during the 2024–25 season.
“AJ is a big, strong forward who plays the game the right way,” said Chiefs Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “He’s got the ability to impact the game physically and offensively, and we believe he’ll fit in really well with our group both on and off the ice.”
“I’m super excited to get going here in Chilliwack. To join an organization with such a good history is truly something special. Look forward to meeting the guys and pushing for something special for this town and organization.” Said Schaaf
