Mission – The City of Mission is building a new neighbourhood park at the north end of Emiry Street in the growing Cedar Valley neighbourhood.
The park will feature a brand new spray park, playground, picnic areas, as well as walking trails, and a sport court. Phase 1 construction is set to begin in spring 2026 with funding by the British Columbia Growing Communities Fund and the Forestry Legacy Reserve.
The City has heard from the public loud and clear that parks and recreation facilities are a top priority for the community, and that’s why the city needsyour help now. The new Emiry Park is your park and we want you to help shape it.
Please share your ideas in a short survey. The results will be used by the project team to create a vision and guide the development of a park concept design.
This is the first community-wide opportunity for input asks questions about what park features you’d like to see in this park.
This initiative marks an important step in enhancing community amenities and fostering a space for recreation and connectivity.
