Chilliwack – Sirens were blasting through Downtown Chilliwack started around 2:45PM Friday Afternoon (October 3), in response to a vehicle that left Ballam Road and went into the Fraser River.
Chilliwack EMS ad SAR attened.
There are unconfirmed reports that two people are awake , and a third being rescued by a passing boater, still unconscious.
This is near the site of a serious crash in 2016 and in October 2020, two young women died in a fatal rollover crash on Ballam Road.
