Coquihalla – The Mine Creek Wildfire is at 483 hectares as of 6PM Wednesday September 3. The Coquihalla has been shut down between Hope and Marritt and there is no timeline for re-opening.
The Fraser Valley Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the Coquihalla Lakes area (Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area north to the boundary of

Drive BC states use alternate route via #BCHwy1 or #BCHwy3. Commercial vehicles are not to use #BCHwy8.
