Cultus Lake – Ironically, as dignitaries were gathered to mark the new wastewater project for North Cultus, media and participants were watching emergency crews race down Columbia Valley Highway with sirens blazing.
A man has drowned in Entrance Bay as EMS were called in around 1PM Thursday August 28.
RCMP have closed off the parking lot to Entrance Bay and you are asked to avoid the area for the time being.
The man’s name has not been released pending contact from next of kin.

Swimmers are being urged to exercise caution after another drowning at Cultus Lake.
“Chilliwack RCMP said a 22-year-old Burnaby man drowned while visiting the lake with friends on Thursday.
