Harrison – The Village of Harrison Hot Springs is hosting an Emergency Preparedness Open House Wednesday, March 6, 5pm – 7pm at Memorial Hall, 290 Esplanade Avenue, Harrison Hot Springs
All members of the public are invited to attend this free event, which will be full of industry professionals to help you prepare for a number of different emergencies. There will be representatives from BC Wildfire Service, Prepared BC, FireSmart, Harrison Fire Department, Kent-Harrison Joint Emergency Program, and United Way in attendance.
This is timely as we are seeing a very dry winter and concerns for another spring and summer of drought.
