Fraser Valley – WBB: Cascades hold Bobcats scoreless in second quarter in 85-36 win
Maddy Gobeil scored 26 points to lead all players, and the UFV Cascades outscored the Brandon University Bobcats 26-0 in the second quarter on their way to an 85-36 victory on Friday evening at the UFV Athletic Centre.
With the win, the Cascades improve to 12-3 on the season, while the Bobcats fall to 1-16.
The Cascades take on the Bobcats again on Saturday, with the women’s game scheduled to tip-off at 5pm, and the men’s game to follow at 7pm. UFV Students attend for free with a valid student ID. MBB: Klim scores 33 as Cascades top Bobcats in playoff rematch
Matthias Klim scored a career-high 33 points as the UFV Cascades came up with the 101-92 victory over the Brandon University Bobcats in a rematch of last season’s Canada West playoffs on Friday night at the UFV Athletic Centre.
The win keeps the Cascades in control of the final Canada West playoff spot currently with a 5-10 record, while the Bobcats drop to 12-5 this season.

WVB: Cascades knock off Wesmen in three sets
Gabrielle Attieh hit a game-high .619, and Talia Attieh notched three service aces, as the UFV Cascades took down the Winnipeg Wesmen in three sets on Friday afternoon (29-27, 25-15, 25-19).
After struggling from the service line on Thursday the Cascades aggressive serving was a strength on six aces and only nine errors, as they improve their record to 15-3 on the season. The Wesmen meanwhile drop to 6-12.

MVB: Cascades drop three-setter to Huskies
The University of Saskatchewan Huskies came up with a three-set victory (25-16, 25-21, 25-16) on Friday afternoon in Saskatoon.
The loss drops the Cascades to 5-12 on the season, while the Huskies improve to 11-6.
