Chilliwack – This is the annual book sale where you bring more than one bag and perhaps, a wagon!
Help Chilliwack Rotary raise funds for community and international projects at their annual book sale at Heritage Park from 10 AM to 6PM from Sunday October 29 to Saturday November 4
The sale is cash, credit or debit. American cash is accepted at par. Net proceeds from our book sale help to fund many of the local Rotary projects including scholarships, enhancements to trails, and feeding school children.
Andrew Crosbie with Rotary told FVN that some 200 people were in line on Sunday the 29th, well before opening. Over 75,000 book titles, let alone CD’s, LP’s and Video are inside.
Crosbie sent an update November 4: The final day of the sale; About $80,000 raised so far at this sale. Saturday is the last day. For the last 2 hours of the sale (4-6) all books/cd’s/records are $1. Thanks!

1-day sale – $36,100
Week-long sale – $89,076
Year total – $125,176
I think that’s the highest ever!
