Sardis – The Sardis Drumline will be joining the Vancouver Canucks as their official drumline for the 2021/22 season. Sardis students will be performing as the drumline during all home games this season.
The drumline started in 2007.
Along the way, trips to perform in China, at the Seattle Seahawks games, BC Lions and Grey Cup and most recently, the Olympic Welcoming home for Chilliwack Soccer star Jordyn Huitema after her 2021 Tokyo Olympic win for Team Canada. She won the gold medal with the Women’s Soccer Team.
Charlene Diana Johnston noted to FVN: No way! I was a flag girl the first year drumline started at Sardis, when Mr. Gagnon came over from Chilliwack Middle. We played half time at the Western Finals, but this is WAY more cool! Johnston was a Sardis grad from 2007-08.
