Menus and Melodies – Where Mission Restaurants and Musicians Pair Up to Provide Free Dine In Entertainment

Mission – The I Love Mission campaign has partnered with local eateries and the Mission Folk Music Festival to bring Menus & Melodies to Mission this fall.


The series partners local musicians with restaurants and cafes to give customers free lunch or dinner entertainment while you dine. The schedule of events runs throughout October and November and hopes to encourage locals to reconnect with the array of musical talent we have in the community while supporting our local businesses.


Clare Seeley, Manager of Tourism and Communications said, “We felt that this was a great way to support two of the hardest-hit sectors during the pandemic, while also offering some fun opportunities for an afternoon or evening out for the community.”

Wednesday, October 20th at 7 pm – Energy Wisdom and Tea presents MarKaren
Wednesday, October 27th at 7 pm – Corona’s presents the John Welsh Duo
Thursday, October 28th at 7 pm – Scratch Restaurant presents Rebecca and Boris Sichon
Wednesday, November 3rd at 7 pm – Blackberry Kitchen presents Michael Jantzen
Wednesday, November 10th at 7 pm – 14th Ave Pub presents Boilie’s Goat
Wednesday, November 17th at noon – The English Tarts presents Laura from Thistle Dew
Wednesday, November 17th at 7 pm – Mission Springs presents Knutson & Connaughton
Thursday, November 18th at 7 pm – The Penny presents the Patrick Anthony Duo
