Fraser Valley – Tense and testy. That seems to be the reaction on social media after Tuesday’s last Chilliwack School Board Meeting of the 20-21 year.
Before the agenda business was dealt with, there was a push to remove Board Chair Willow Reichelt. The motion from Darrell Ferguson and backed by Health Maahs and Barry Neufeld started an uncomfortable 15 minutes to start the meeting.

This overshadowed the Strategic Plan described as a conceptual framework is designed to communicate the big ideas that we believe about our school district in a visual, holistic fashion.

What was not passed on June 1 but eventually did go through was the new Mission, Vision and Motto , as Chair Reichelt described as an important component of the new Strategic Plan.
