Fraser Valley – Fraser Health is encouraging everyone in our region to register for their COVID-19 vaccine. As cases remain high in our region, it is more important than ever to protect yourself, your co-workers and your business by registering today.
From their media release: All vaccines that are approved in Canada and available in British Columbia are safe and effective, and will help protect you against COVID-19. Every vaccine that is administered makes us, our loved ones, and our communities safer and helps put this pandemic behind us.
· People 18 years and older are now able to register for immunization using the Provincial registration and booking system.
· People 40 years of age and older and live in high-transmission neighbourhoods are eligible to receive vaccine now. You must register first using the Provincial registration and booking system. After registering, you will be contacted on the same day to book your vaccine appointment.
· People aged 30 years of age and older are eligible to receive vaccine now by booking at their local pharmacy.
