Harrison – This year Lights by the Lake includes a new 60 person “family sized” outdoor synthetic rink. Bring your skates or rent some from the concession and enjoy the outdoor rink by the lake. Open daily, access to the rink is free but there is a small charge for skate rentals. The New Skating Rink opened November 23.

Monday was the official Grand Opening of the new synthetic outdoor rink. The Hon. Lisa Beare, Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Jason Lum, Chair of the FVRD Board and a performance by the Mission Figure Skating Club were featued at the grand opening
The official name of the rink is “Starlight Skating Rink” . Congrats to Wendy Baldwin on the winning submission to name the outdoor skating rink:
