Vancouver – Vancouver PPM Radio Ratings from Numeris have been released. Vancouver , as a major market, has four rating periods a year. The Fraser Valley only has a fall rating period.
To note: CBU Radio One (AM) usually takes a small drop during the winter. Sportsnet 650 now has the Canucks broadcasts but TSN 1040 still beats them.
LG 104.3 dropped oldies/classic hits for Soft AC and Smooth Jazz at night, and the numbers dropped.
KWPZ is Praise 106 from Lynden Washington and siphons off ad dollars from Vancouver and the Fraser Valley and into the US ownership. Their Christian Hit Music resonates well in the Valley, particularly in Abbotsford.
CBC ICI RADIO-CANADA PREMIÈRE, CBC ICI MUSIQUE ,RJ1200, RED FM, Pulse 107.7, AM 1470, FM 96.1, 550KARI and AM1550 all do NOT subscribe to the ratings.
CKKS Kiss Radio is technically a Chilliwack station with a Vancouver transmitter and studios.
CIRH RoundHouse Radio is currently off the air and searching for new owners.
