Surrey – Coast Capital Savings, Canada’s largest credit union by membership, is empowering its close to 2,000 employees to give back to community organizations they care about this Giving Tuesday (November 27). Dedicated to giving back, Giving Tuesday comes on the heels of consumer – focused Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
To mark the day and celebrate the great work that Coast Capital employees do in their communities, the B.C. – based credit union is empowering its employees to donate a total of $46,500 to non-profit organizations. In a unique initiative, this year, each of Coast Capital’s 1,864 employees will receive $25 dollars to donate to a Canadian charitable organization of their choice.
Raman Bhangoo, a Surrey – based talent acquisition specialist with Coast Capital will donate her $25 to the YWCA in Surrey. She volunteers with the association on one of their programs focused on empowering young women in overcoming barriers to achieving academic success as they transition to high school.
