Langley Rivermen Anti-Bullying Ice Painting

Langley – The Langley Rivermen are asking their fans to put bullying on ice.

The Junior A hockey team and the Township of Langley are partnering in an anti-bullying campaign in the lead up to Pink Shirt Day and encourage people of all ages to make their mark when it comes to supporting compassion, empathy, and kindness.

On Wednesday, February 21, members of the public can come out to the George Preston Recreation Centre at 20699 – 42 Avenue between 6:30 – 8:00pm to paint anti-bullying messages on the ice. The messages will remain in the ice for the Rivermen’s two final games on February 24 and 25. The cost is $10 per person, and participants will receive a ticket to one of the two games.
