Mission Recycling Depot Now Accepting Used Oil

Mission – People in Mission can now drop off used oil, antifreeze, oil filters and containers free of charge at the Mission Recycling Depot at 7229 Mershon Street, seven days a week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The program is for residential quantities only with a limit of 30 litres of oil per resident per visit.

Commercial operations and anyone with large quantities of used oil or antifreeze can find a collector for free pickup on the BC Used Oil Management Association’s website bcusedoil.com.

Used oil and antifreeze collection is a covered by a stewardship program under the BC Recycling Regulation. It is funded through eco fees paid at the time of purchase. For more information, visit bcusedoil.com.
