Abbotsford Police Investigating A Walnut Bag Full Of Questions

Abbotsford – On Saturday, Abbotsford Police confirmed what was first an odd posting from Scan BC, and now turned into a serious investigation.

Scan BC is a Twitter/Facebook account which posts scanner chatter from various EMS outlets.

At first, FVN among other outlets though this may be a crank call for APD. APD PR Officer Sgt, Judy Bird confirms that they are taking this seriously.

At an undisclosed grocery store, in a bulk bag of walnuts, a shopper found a note stating that someone had been “held against their will” and needed help.

responding to a report from a citizen that they found a note inside a bag of bulk walnuts they bought at a local grocery store that reads, “Help! My name is Tina and I am being held against my will at the farm.”
