Chiliwack – The firestorm will not die down anytime soon and Chilliwack School Trustee Barry Neufeld has shot back.
In the face of calls for his resignation from the Chilliwack School Board, BC Teachers Federation, even the BC Education Minister, Neufeld released a media statement stating that he “must” remain on the board in order to be the “lonely voice protecting impressionable children.”
Neufeld believes children will be “confused and harmed”. He goes on to say that teaching gender identity is fluid will result in an increase of rapid onset gender dysphoria in at-risk children.
